Grandchildren Give To Honour Grandmother's Life

Veena Lamba was only 47 when she passed away from cancer in July of 1991. Her five grandchildren never had the privilege to meet her, but recently made a donation to the Northern Cancer Fund to honour her memory. Her husband, Pritam Lamba (pictured on right) was delighted to celebrate his wife’s memory alongside his grandchildren.
“It is rare that we are all together in one city,” he said, “so I was delighted when we gathered over the holidays. It was such a nice feeling as our family continued to honour Veena’s memory.”
The donation will be used to continue to provide exceptional cancer care to patients here in Northwestern Ontario. Generously making the donation are (left to right) Kiana Lamba Dhindsa, Vienna Lamba, Ronak Lamba Dhindsa, Tiya Lamba Dhindsa, and Kieran Lamba.
