Thanks to donations from generous people like you, medical research at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is thriving.  More world-class scientists like Dr. Chris Phenix have been recruited to our community to conduct research at Thunder Bay Regional Research Institute. Dr. Phenix’s work focuses on PET imaging as a means to detect cancer earlier.  Because PET research is conducted here, people in Northwestern Ontario – our family and friends - are the first to access to the most advanced cancer detection in the world.
