This year we added two new vendors to our Fresh Market line-up after hearing feedback from our staff on wanting more variety! Read on to learn about Michael Quibell from Little Doo's Farm and General Store and to find out what products he has to offer.

How long have you been operating?

Little Doo's Farm has been proudly selling in association with the Thunder Bay Country Market since 2005, but changed business concepts in 2015 with the creation of a General Store. This is the first year Little Doo's Farm and General Store has been involved in the TBRHSC Fresh Market!

Explain your business and what products are sold?

Little Doo's Farm and General Store provides two different services to customers. Little Doo's Farm offers farm raised lamb and rabbit, which are raised on a small farm just outside of Murrilo. Animals are pasture and grain fed, and are ethically raised and then processed in Murillo. A small selection of assorted cuts of lamb and rabbit are available every week with customers available to pre-order specific meat cuts in advance for the week to come.

The General Store provides an opportunity for new businesses in and around Thunder Bay to have a presence at the market, as they are not able to attend themselves. The General Store has about 12 vendors who fit the TBRHSC criteria and currently sell their products at our market. Vendors include include Wolfhead Coffee, 180 Foods Chaga, Both Hands Bakery, Boreal Forest, Black Duck Lake, Northwest Gourmet Mushrooms and more!

Where can customers buy your products?

You can find Little Doo's Farm and General Store at the TBRHSC Fresh Market on Wednesday mornings from 11:30 am to 1:15 pm up to and including October 4th, or at the Thunder Bay Country Market located on the second level on Wednesday evenings from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm.
