Remembering Darryl “Penasi” Fox

The Fox family just named the Chemotherapy stretcher area in honour of Lucian Darryl "Penasi" Fox, their beloved son, brother, and uncle, who passed away of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma while in University.
Every year the family runs a golf tournament in his memory, and have raised over $50,000 for local cancer care through the Northern Cancer Fund. To follow Darryl's passion for Civic Engineering, they also fund the Darryl Fox "Penasi" Memorial Scholarship – a $1,000 award which is given every year to an indigenous student specializing in the Engineering and Technology field. What a wonderful way to honour a remarkable man!
