We're always amazed at the generosity of kids in our community. Here's a few of their stories.

Harnoor Singh Hayer

Harnoor Singh Hayer, came in to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation at the beginning of April to donate his birthday money to Paediatrics. What an awesome kid. Thank you, Harnoor! His brother Ajitpattal & dad Harbinder joined in for the photo. Kids helping kids – what could be better?

Sam Skillen

Sam collected $66.65 making and selling rainbow loom bracelets and donated it to Paediatrics. Thanks Sam!

The Carolling Cousins

The Carolling Cousins dropped by the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre just days before Christmas to drop off a cheque in the amount of $300 – all raised thanks to their delightful singing of Christmas carols this past holiday season. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will benefit from their talent and generosity.

A big thanks to Emily, Natalie, Carly, Jackson, Saige, Grace, Braydon and Cole – an inspiring group of young people in our community!

Lakelan MacKenzie

Lakelan decided she wanted to give the $100 she received from her 6th birthday to the Northern Cancer Fund.

Carrie & Sara Allen

This year Carrie & Sara Allen decorated their horse stall at the Murillo Fair and collected donations for the Breast Cancer Fund here at the Health Sciences Foundation. Their auntie had breast cancer and so it is a cause very important to them. They won first prize for their decorated stall and collected $20 in their donation box. Next year they plan on making their donation box more visible in hopes of collecting more money for breast cancer.
