Congratulations to Lorna MacAskill on her retirement! If you’ve ever called or visited the Health Sciences Foundation you may have been greeted by Lorna’s smiling face or cheerful voice. We’ve been lucky enough to work with Lorna for 17 years, starting way back with what was then the Northern Cancer Research Foundation in Port Arthur General. Lorna was an integral part of every project - including the Care Beyond Compare Campaign to build the new hospital, and the Exceptional Cancer Care Campaign to bring exceptional cancer care to the people of Northwestern Ontario. She has really helped make a difference in a lot of people’s lives, and as an avid community volunteer we know she’ll continue to do so.
From all of us in the Foundation family: Have fun on your new adventures! We’ll miss having you around to brighten the office. Travel far, relax, and enjoy your new found free time. You deserve it.
