Celebrating our Volunteer Association

The Volunteer Association to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has been associated with hospitals in Thunder Bay for 116 years. Through active participation in fundraising & volunteer service, this dedicated group of volunteers makes a significant impact on Patient and Family Centered Care.

For 2018, the Volunteer Association has committed to donate $30,000 for Family Care Grants, $9000 for scholarships and bursaries, $5000 for the Clothing Cupboard, $16,800 for three heated chemotherapy chairs, and $500 to the volunteer gardeners.
