David Burns-Prouty from the Dryden Lions Club was joined by (left) Dr. Marlon Hagerty, Radiation Oncologist and (right) Trina Diner, Manager, Palliative Care & Telemedicine as he presented a gift of $1,000 to the Tbaytel Tamarack House, a home-away-from-home for patients needing treatment in Thunder Bay.

The gift was thanks to proceeds from a raffle held earlier in the year by the Lions, with the grand prize of a Dodge Extended Cab Truck, Trailer and 4-Wheeler. This donation is the latest in a long history of support from the Dryden Lions Club. Since 1988, the Lions have given over $38,000 to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation to support areas such as the Lions Vision Care Centre, Tbaytel Tamarack House and the Northern Cardiac Fund, among others.
