Mustangs Score Touchdown for Cancer Care

Thank you to the Mustangs, a bantam team with the Thunder Bay Minor Football Association, for raising $300 for the Northern Cancer Fund for breast cancer. Head coach Rob Thompson and team manager Amanda Parker-Kainula sold football-themed breast cancer shirts as a fundraiser.
"It was an idea that came up very spontaneously. The team was so supportive of it and we believe in the importance of supporting local health care," said Parker-Kainula. "We are looking forward to building on this initiative next year."
Funds will be directed to support breast cancer care, diagnoses, research and treatment. Go Mustangs!
