Maddison Takes Pride in Helping Donors

The Health Sciences Foundation is pleased to introduce one of our newest hires, Maddison Kluke.

Maddison joined the team back in November of 2020 as a Donor Relations Specialist in our Donation Centre. If you’ve ever called the Foundation, you may have spoken to her! She is responsible for helping donors when they visit or call our Donation Centre inside the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, and acting as the first point of contact for those looking to speak with other members of the Foundation team. She provides administrative support to the Foundation staff, manages a wide portfolio of organizational initiatives, conducts important backend support for the Thunder Bay 50/50, and participates in the orientation, supervision and support of volunteers. We like to think of Maddison as a well organized, versatile and experienced communicator who works hard to meet organizational objectives.

She has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology and Gerontology from Lakehead University, and years of experience working at several organizations in customer service, public relations and office administration. This role at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation was the ideal landing spot for her, as she felt that it uniquely bridged her interests and talents. “I thoroughly enjoy my time working at the Foundation,” says Maddison, “I really enjoy interacting with our donors in person and over the phone, and it’s also very rewarding seeing the progress we are making in healthcare every time we make a new equipment purchase here at the Hospital.”

In her spare time Maddison enjoys fishing, gardening, painting and spending time outdoors. Maddison grew up in the city of Dryden, and spent a considerable amount of time at her family-owned resort. “I try to express my creative side in my art, my various flower gardens and even while in the workplace,” says Maddison, “I love living here in Northwestern Ontario because of the incredible beauty we are surrounded with, it’s something that I try to never take for granted.”

If you are looking to donate to the Foundation or for general inquires you may contact Maddison by email at info@healthsciencesfoundation.ca, or at our Donation Centre by calling 807-345-4673.
