Copper Kettle Coffee House is partnering with the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation throughout December to support the Renal & Hemodialysis Fund. Customers can add marshmallows to any hot or cold drink for $1, with all proceeds directed to the Foundation. Gingerbread cookies are also available for $4, with $1 from each sale supporting the cause. By visiting Copper Kettle Coffee House this month, residents can enjoy a seasonal treat while helping patients in Thunder Bay.

The Listen to the Lights Christmas Light Show is running all month at 753 Syndicate Avenue (off Northern Avenue). Visitors can tune their radios to 92.3 FM and watch a light show featuring four singing light bulbs. For more than 10 years, homeowner James has been bringing smiles and Christmas cheer with his display, and this year he is asking passersby to donate to the Our Hearts at Home Cardiovascular Campaign to help bring cardiovascular surgery to Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario. Guests can drive up and watch a song or two, or stay for the full 20-minute show from the comfort of their vehicles. Donations can be made at www.healthsciencesfoundation.ca/lights
