A Heart Scare Made Me Re-Think Everything
Laura's Story
Failing my cardiac stress test was a wake-up call. It gave me pause to think about my future… my friends and family... my community. What kind of legacy could I build? When it came time to start planning my estate, I realized another way I could give back was through a Gift in my Will to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation.
I'm thrilled that the new Cardiovascular Surgery
wing has broken ground. Hundreds of patients who travel to southern Ontario every year for cardiac surgery will soon be able to stay right here in Thunder Bay. Lives will be saved.
My Biggest Lesson of All – Life is fragile. Grab hold of it with both hands and embrace the moments that matter.
