The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation and the Fort William Rotary Club have teamed up once again this year for the 40th annual Fort William Rotary House Lottery, continuing a strategic partnership focused on supporting charities and community programs across Thunder Bay.
With a wealth of expertise and experience, the Health Sciences Foundation supports the Rotary House Lottery through marketing, online ticket sales, and in-person ticket sales at the Thunder Bay 50/50 store inside Intercity Shopping Centre.
“This partnership is a great example of what can happen when local organizations work together,” says Glenn Craig, CEO of the Health Sciences Foundation and Past President of the Fort William Rotary Club. “We're proud to continue supporting a fundraiser that helps so many local organizations and programs each year.”
“Last year alone, more than $570,000 was distributed to over 20 local organizations through Fort William Rotary Community Grants,” noted Jodi Phillips, current President of the club. “Funding supported charities and programs including Shelter House, the Regional Food Distribution Association, Easter Seals, the Boys & Girls Club, Hospice Northwest, the George Jeffrey Children's Foundation, and many others. The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation was also among the organizations that received support through Rotary community grants. I am proud of this collaboration and the impact it has on so many organizations that our club supports.”

This year's Fort William Rotary House Lottery grand prize home, located at 126 Bruin Crescent in Thunder Bay's Parkdale subdivision, is valued at more than $750,000.
This year's grand prize home, built by Triad Custom Built Homes and located at 126 Bruin Crescent in the Parkdale subdivision, is valued at more than $750,000.
