Bullseye Chase the Case Raises Over $60,000 for Breast Cancer Care
Published Monday, May 4, 2026

The Health Sciences Foundation is celebrating the success of its second annual Bullseye Chase the Case presented by Doane Grant Thornton, a high-energy, game show–style fundraiser held in April in support of breast cancer care through the Northern Cancer Fund. The total announced during the evening continued to climb, and once the dust settled, the event raised an incredible $60,375.57.
Held in the Valhalla Ballroom, the event brought the community together for a memorable night filled with interactive experiences, a live game show inspired by Deal or No Deal, and meaningful moments that highlighted the impact of giving close to home. Guests took part in a variety of activities throughout the evening, all contributing to the growing total.
The success of the event was driven by the incredible support of the community, with local businesses donating more than $40,000 in prizes, a remarkable show of generosity that speaks to the strength of giving in Thunder Bay.
Funds raised will directly support breast cancer care across Northwestern Ontario, helping ensure patients can access exceptional care closer to home.
As for what's next for Bullseye Chase the Case in 2027… you'll have to stay tuned.
