Meet John Hatton, Director, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre Board of Directors

John Hatton is one of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre’s dedicated Board members. He is an active community member who has previously worked in both the private sector and the post secondary education sector before becoming the manager of a primary care clinic. He joined the Hospital’s Board of Directors in June 2019.
“I feel a strong commitment to my community and believe that Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre will be a key player in leading the shift towards better and more effective health care delivery across the region,” said Hatton. “I would like to be a part of this change and contribute to a better system for patients and families in Northwestern Ontario.”
Hatton will draw on his knowledge and passion for improved patient experiences to help advance the Hospital’s goals. "Working in a primary care environment, I have seen where we can improve patient experiences," he explained. "Already, we have exceptional staff giving exceptional care in an innovative environment. My vision is for the Hospital to continue to build on its strengths and to provide trusted, accessible care for the people of our community."
